Overview:

Inspire compassion, purpose, and leadership through a visit to the SickKids Foundation. This eye-opening experience will introduce students to the power of philanthropy, community impact, and the science behind one of the world’s top pediatric hospitals. From storytelling to strategy, students will see how passion and purpose can drive powerful change.

Agenda:

😀 9:00am - 9:30am: Students arrive (we will be there to greet you, don’t worry!)

🌞 9:30am - 9:45am: Warm up activity (after all, we need to get warmed up!)

🧊 9:45am - 11:30am: Hands-on (dare we say fun) workshop on Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship

🍱 11:30am - 12:00pm: Lunch break (we do better than pizzas, don’t worry)

🏢 12:00pm - 12:30pm: Office tour (discover the magic behind SickKids Foundation)

💡 12:30pm - 1:30pm: Students work on ICE Challenge posed by SickKids Foundation (it actually is a real industry case - not a made up one)

🏆 1:30pm - 2:00pm: Student Presentations to SickKids Foundation (winner takes all!)

🍬 2:00pm - 2:10pm: Wrap up (yes, there will be candy)

Schedule Flexibility

We understand that bus schedules often shape your day more than you do. We're happy to adjust the agenda to fit your timing needs. Just let us know as early as possible if your school has any specific constraints.

Tentative Scheduling

Event dates may be subject to change based on sector partner availability. Final details and confirmations will be shared at least one month prior to your scheduled field trip.

Backup Plan

In the event of school closures due to weather or other unforeseeable circumstances, events will be rescheduled.

Group Size Update

Please register the number of students you plan to bring. You’re welcome to swap students, but adding more requires prior approval. Just send us an email and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Update Timeline

Please let us know of any changes to your group size at least two weeks before the event.

Absence Policy

No-shows will be charged the full event fee. However, we are happy to offer a free online training session for any students who are absent.

Group Supervision

Please bring the right number of staff or chaperones based on your school board’s guidelines.
