McMaster is well known for its strength in health care, medical research, and biomedical education, while McMaster Innovation Park is a leading incubator for startups, research commercialization, and applied innovation. Together, they make it a strong setting for biomedical innovation and health care, connecting academic expertise with real-world product development and entrepreneurship. In this Biomedical Innovation and Health Care ICE Training workshop, students will explore that connection through a hands-on learning experience, including an ICE Challenge developed with a startup based at the park to work on a real case.

😀 9:00am - 9:20am: Students arrive (we will be there to greet you, don’t worry!) 🌞 9:20am - 9:40am: Warm up activity with MiP Keynote (after all, we need to get warmed up!) 🧊 9:40am - 11:30am: Hands-on (dare we say fun) workshop on Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship 🍱 11:30am - 12:15pm: Lunch & Learn (recharging with food and industry insights) 🏫 12:15pm - 1:30pm: Facility tour (discover the magic behind Atrium, Innovation Factory, etc.) 💡 1:30pm - 2:00pm: Students work on ICE Challenge (a real industry case to solve) 🍬 2:00pm - 2:30pm: Closing remark & Wrap up (yes, there will be candy)
