Overview:
This field trip to SickKids Hospital and the Simulation Centre gives students a behind-the-scenes look at one of Canada’s leading paediatric academic health sciences centres. Through guided exposure to hospital learning environments and simulation-based training spaces, students will explore how health-care teams use innovation, collaboration, and hands-on practice to improve care for children and families. The program also includes SHSM ICE training in Futures Thinking and an ICE Challenge, giving students a chance to build sector-specific knowledge, engage in interactive learning, and apply their ideas in a practical team-based activity.
